Launching a new app to 235 million customers

VEON was a new mobile internet platform that integrated powerful data analytics and artificial intelligence putting the user in control. With a fresh take on messaging capabilities enabling users and communities to connect by voice, text, picture and video through an organised and minimal interface.

Developing the new app and guidelines

Working through Native Design and with the parent company Vimplecom, I worked within a small team to deliver the entire customer, user and interaction experience. This involved developing multiple user flows and prototypes that were tested amongst their diverse customer base to deliver an engaging and seamless communication experience.

We also created extensive digital guidelines and component libraries so the development team could deploy our vision.

The app is being rolled out into 12 different regions across the globe to 235 million customers.
